The Senior Planning Network Process
Wealth transfer is a vital component of financial planning. It is the final step in our
process, and it provides you the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you have
taken the steps necessary to ensure the continued security of your family.
In the wealth transfer stage
of our work together, we
will address these vital
questions:
“Who will receive my estate, and how do I make sure that my wishes are truly
fulfilled?”
“How can I ensure financial security for myself and my family both during and after
my lifetime?”
“How can I reduce or eliminate taxes, administrative expenses, and delays in
connection with the transfer of my estate?”
“How can I provide liquidity to cover taxes, debts, and expenses my family and I may
owe?”
Together, we will work to devise a plan for the allocation
of your assets. Your wealth transfer strategy may utilize a
number of different mechanisms to make sure your estate is
distributed according to your wishes:
Wills – a legal declaration that directs the way your assets are divided
Trusts – a method of transferring assets to your beneficiaries
(*There are many types of trusts we can generate for you such as Living Trusts,
QTIP Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, and/or Charitable Remainder Trusts.)
Charitable gifts – a way to give a portion of your chosen assets to selected
organizations as well as reduce your tax liability
Life insurance – a time-tested way to provide immediate cash as well as a lasting
legacy to your family
* Guarantees are based upon the claims-paying ability of the issuing company.

Annuities carry fees and charges and withdrawals are subject to taxation, including a 10% tax penalty for withdrawals prior to age 59 1/2.
Your individually-tailored plan is built to encompass all 4 essential phases of financial planning:
Investing involves risks, including the risk for principal loss. Diversification and asset allocation do not assure a profit or guarantee against loss. Investors should consider the investment objectives, risks and expenses of any investment carefully before investing.
